Sarah Martin is a Senior Economist at Dodge Construction Network, where she forecasts & analyzes construction industry data for the US and Canada, across all major construction types and geographies. She is a contributing author to Dodge’s Construction Market Forecasting Service (CMFS) and the primary author of the Canadian Construction Forecasting Service (CCFS). Sarah works to regularly communicate these complex forecasts and analyses to clients, including speaking at DCN’s Mid-Year Outlook and Canadian Outlook.
Prior to Dodge, Sarah was an Economist at Fastmarkets RISI where she authored forecasts in bioenergy and wood products. She also contributed to and developed single-client consulting studies with curated analyses and recommendations to aid clients in their business decisions. Studies typically included analyses on market feasibility of proposed projects, supply-demand assessments, and custom forecasts. In addition, Sarah developed multi-client studies comprised of econometric models and research across all key global bioenergy markets. She holds a B.S. in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics from the University of Rhode Island and an M.A. from Clark University.
